01What is AI mastering?+
AI mastering is the automated final processing of a finished stereo track. It adjusts loudness, tonal balance, dynamics and stereo width so the song sounds more cohesive before release.
02How is mastering different from mixing?+
Mixing works with separate vocal, beat, bass and instrument tracks. Mastering works with the finished stereo mix and provides the final processing before publication.
03Can I hear the result before paying?+
Yes. After upload you get a free 30-second comparison of the original and mastered versions. Payment is only required to download the full file.
04Which upload and download formats are supported?+
You can upload WAV, MP3 or FLAC files up to 200 MB. The finished master is available as release-ready 24-bit WAV or 320 kbps MP3.
05Can I improve a track made with Suno or Udio?+
Yes, if you have the finished audio file. Mastering can make it denser, louder and more balanced, but it cannot replace mixing when the vocal is already distorted or the source is heavily clipped.
06Who owns the track after processing?+
You keep your rights and authorship. KotKit does not become the rights holder, and mastering does not generate new music — it processes the file you upload.
07Does KotKit publish uploaded files?+
No. Files are used only to fulfil the order and are not published. Unpaid orders expire after 72 hours, the paid source file is removed after 30 days, and the finished master is retained for up to 90 days.
08Is my track used to train AI models?+
No. KotKit does not use uploaded tracks to train or improve AI models.
